Brian Haggerty has spent 25 years in business, education and politics. He coaches CEO's, Business People and Politicians on their people skills and communication skills, while teaching them how to develop a strong Emotional Intelligence, thereby affording them more control and power over their personal and professional lives.
He has run for and been elected to several political posts. Most notably, he served as commissioner of the department of public affairs in which he first created the public education programs which would become the basis of all of his most sought-after teachings. "I want to have an impact on how people think about themselves, others and the world around them. I want them to become proactive creators; firmly understanding how their mind works and learning how to use it to gain control over the things in their lives."
Please contact us for Brian's standard fee structure for domestic and international events. Please also include an estimate of your budget if at all possible. The more information and details you can provide about your event and budget, the better we can work with you to make sure your event is a complete success! Depending upon the type of your organization (i.e. Charitable, Foundation etc.), Brian is often willing to lower his fee for charitable purposes. Brian wants to be sure that his programs are a direct fit for your specific event objectives and is extremely creative and flexible. Please check out some of Brian's (podcasts) or (blogs) to learn more about his topics of expertise as well as his approach.
Unless otherwise agreed upon, travel expenses (including flights, hotel accommodation, ground transportation and meals) are always paid for by the client. In order to better assist those whose budgets are limited, Brian is happy to fly economy for flights less than five (5) hours. For longer flights, particularly overseas flights, business class travel is strongly preferred. For overseas events, Brian has a three-night minimum at the event destination; two nights before his speaking session and one after. This allows for him to adjust to the time change and get the needed rest before addressing your audience. Two hotel nights (one before his speaking session and one after) is acceptable if his arrival time is before 12 noon on the day prior to his speaking session.
In order to smooth out the event budgeting process, some organizations prefer all-inclusive fees. We are happy to accommodate these requests. Please provide us with area hotel rates and we will check flights for your event dates. We will then provide an all-inclusive quote and pay for the travel expenses directly. Your invoice will reflect the all-inclusive fee and no other fees.
Speaking fees are impacted by many things and vary depending upon the following: (1) the event date and location, (2) the audience size and composition, (3) the likelihood of other business, (4) the potential for consulting opportunities, (5) bulk book sales and (6) details of the speaking session. Regardless of your budget, if you think Brian would be a good fit for your event, please contact us with the details.
In order to secure a particular event date, we request a signed contract (or memorandum of understanding) and a 50% deposit of the speaking fee. Particularly for international events, Brian will not initiate his travel before a deposit and the contract is received. We have a standard contract that we can provide but are also happy to use your format if you prefer.
Once both parties agree on the speaking fee, we will provide you with full wire transfer instructions. Please note that international wire transfers can take two or three days to be reflected in our accounts. If your event is approaching quickly, please allow enough time for the funds to clear.
We are happy to provide Brian's slides to you in advance of your event. However, please note that depending upon the customized nature of the event, Brian may wind up making some last-minute changes to reflect your objectives better. Also, the number of slides in each talk depends upon the subject of Brian's presentation. Some require more than others. We will work with you and your organization closely to be sure that the proper equipment and slides are tested and available for the event.
Brian generally wears business attire during his presentations. However, if your event is somewhat informal, or themed in such a way as a suit may not seem appropriate, then Brian is happy to dress according to your theme. Also, if Brian is addressing Millennials, he may also dress in business casual to better reflect the audience. Regardless of the attire, Brian has a large array of clothes for any and all types of events and is happy to work with you to make sure his attire is well suited.
